SONIA RYKIEL
Established in 1968, the Sonia Rykiel label was named after a well-known fashion designer, Sonia Rykiel. Her first store drew public notice with its fashionable and contemporary apparel, accessories, and fragrances. Sonia Rykiel, widely regarded as the first brand to use slogans on knitwear, established its market foothold. The designer was always up for violating all the rules and designing designs that were readily glanced at and approved by the public.
